Background
We presently employ seven Washington, five Oregon and two Idaho licensed drillers. All drillers have 40- and 8-hour OSHA certification and current First Aid, CPR cards. Active in Residential, Commercial, Environmental and Geotechnical drilling. Average years of experience per driller is 20. Tacoma Pump & Drilling was the first drilling company in Washington State to own and operate a Dual Rotary drill rig.
Experience
- We have drilled thousands of potable water wells in Washington State. From depths to 1500 ft, diameters of 6 to 24 inches.
- We have been active in the Environmental Drilling Industry since 1980.
- In 2006 and 2007 we drilled GPS foundation and strainmeter boreholes in Nevada, Utah and Wyoming.
- We have extensive experience in Soils Investigations, Monitoring Wells, Vapor and Water Extraction Wells, Dewatering, Geotechnical borings, Cathodic Protection Wells, Conductor casings for the petroleum industry, Installation of pilings for bridges, Elevator jack-shafts, drilling in both Washington and Oregon, and Resource Protection wells throughout Washington and Oregon.
